Compared to other parts in the story, it felt the most detached. But it was the best gameplay level in the whole series. As a matter of fact that may be the main reason that level and included... not so much for story elements but for gameplay reasons. If that is the case then I can understand why.
I mostly agree with you post. I LOVED UC2 and was greatly engrossed in the story, hook line and sinker. In relation to the whole trilogy I personally rank the games as: UC2 - UC3 - UC1.
Oh... its funny you mentioned the ship level in UC3. It's probably one of my most favorite sections in the whole series. BUT, I do agree with you that the ship level had almost nothing to do with the core story whats so ever. When I talked with my brother and stated the same thing abo...

Very fair comments from the two above. For me I would rank the games: UC2, followed very closely by UC3, then UC1

They all were launched into a higher level of public domain, especially Halo, specially due to the used game sells.
Its like cars, how many exactly buy new or used. Homes buyers are somewhat similar in that regard too. Used sells DO HELP the maker.

there was something about that golden bastard that rub me the wrong way. I rescued him and let him stay at the fire shrine area, talking and getting some item and hints from him.
But i just got the feeling he would make me regret freeing him so after a few hours dwelling on it I killed him and got a ring and 5 humanities.
From reading the past few comments it seems I made the right decision. Call it "Demon Souls" experience and intuition.

plus how often does xbox live update anyway, like 4 times a year. and like you guys said it is usually 3-5 mb to download.
